Adamas Forge is run by Joel Davey out of his workshop located in Newcastle, New South Wales. A skilled blacksmith, Joel has a keen desire to craft high performance cutlery, as well as a unique sense for blade aesthetics. He continues to push his boundaries as he develops his own distinctive style of knives.
A light and nimble utility blade. The profile has a nice flat spot from the heel to the mid section of the edge and gradually curves to an upswept tip. Although fairly thin, it retains sufficient stiffness due to the slight amount of scale left on the spine as well as the blade's overall geometry. Ground with a subtle plunge line, it is very comfortable in hand, as it has a nice grip and mass where the fingers rest. A great size to function as a service knife, and a very easy to sharpen steel. Paired with a beautifully shaped handle made from striking materials.
