Grinding has been done without sakimawashi/yokote to enable the edge to transition seamlessly all the way to the tip.
A thin and narrow blade with a curved profile, granting the user a very comfortable slicing motion with minimal wrist movement - especially noticeable for vertical cuts.

I’ve bought many Japanese knives but this is my favourite so far. The double bevel is great to cut with and the shape and finish looks beautiful. Extremely happy with my purchase and with the service. Would love a saya for it.
