Hitachi White #2 core steel forge welded between soft iron cladding, by one of Sakai City's top blacksmiths. This blade boasts a shinogi grind, a beautiful mirror polish on the hira and a hazy finished kireha created by a highly talented sharpener. A gyuto with a thin grind and a well balanced feel despite it's size. The White #2 core is easy to sharpen on whetstones and capable of taking a very refined edge.
